Mission: Gilliam County Transportation (GCT) strives to provide accessible, safe, comfortable and timely transportation for elderly (60+), people with disabilities and the general public.
Duties & Services
Gilliam County Transportation (GCT) provides transportation for medical, shopping and social excursions. Since 1987, the service has operated with volunteer drivers.
GCT operates with grant funds, medical mileage reimbursement programs and donations which are greatly appreciated. Transportation will be provided regardless of your ability to pay.
We currently utilize three ADA buses, four mini-vans and two vehicles designed to accommodate medically fragile passengers. These vehicles are available for seniors, people with disabilities and the general public.
Veterans are encouraged to use GCT for medical appointments. GCT has obtained a Highly Rural Transportation Grant (HRTG) which provides reimbursement for medical appointments.
If you are a Veteran and have used GCT for an medical appointment, please contact the VA Customer Satisfaction Number: 1-855-488-8445
