Gilliam County Transportation Announces Limited Service in Response to COVID-19
Gilliam County is committed to doing our part to keep our communities safe and slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In response to public health guidance and to protect the health of our volunteer drivers and medically-vulnerable populations, Gilliam County Transportation will be providing limited service until further notice.
Specifically, Gilliam County Transportation will be providing essential medical transportation only. Trips will be based on volunteer driver availability.
Passengers with non-essential appointments are asked to reschedule their appointment or find alternate transportation. Gilliam County Transportation will NOT be providing any shopping shuttles, instead we encourage you to contact local grocery stores who are providing delivery service to citizens:
Arlington Thrifty Foods: 541-454-2711
Condon Two Boys Grocery: 541-384-2371
In addition, the Transportation Department is working to schedule Rx pick-up services, post office mail pick-up and delivery, and meal deliveries from the Condon and Arlington Meal Sites. Contact staff with any questions or needs as they arise.

Duties & Services
Gilliam County Transportation (GCT) provides transportation for medical, shopping and social excursions. Since 1987, the service has operated with volunteer drivers.
GCT operates with grant funds, medical mileage reimbursement programs and donations. Transportation will be provided regardless of ability to pay.
We currently utilize ADA buses, mini-vans and vehicles designed to accommodate medically fragile passengers. These vehicles are available for seniors, people with disabilities and the general public.
Veterans are encouraged to use GCT for medical appointments. GCT has obtained a Highly Rural Transportation Grant (HRTG) which provides reimbursement for medical appointments.
If you are a Veteran and have used GCT for a medical appointment, please contact the VA Customer Satisfaction Number: 1-855-488-8445
*This survey is important for grants and takes a couple of minutes.
